Charlottesville

We spent the weekend in Charlottesville, VA visiting our friends Dr. and Mrs. Weiss. We were joined by their son Mark and our good friend Jordan.
Jon, Mark, Jordan and I have been friends since we were in the 6th grade at Jackson Middle School. There's something special about friends who've known you for more than half your life, and the way that when you get together you can pick up right where you've left off, even if it's been a few years.

Jackson enjoyed hanging out with some new friends and having a new area to crawl around and explore. Mrs. Weiss loved having an honorary grandchild for the weekend.

He was very fascinated by Jordan's yoyo.

His favorite part of the weekend was interacting with their lab-mix Brewster. Watching Brewster and Jackson together was precious. Brewster is energetic but very sweet. It was his first time around a baby so he acted confused at times.

Brewster and Jackson became best friends after Jackson's first meal in the high chair. Jackson had a lot of fun dropping food off the table for the dog. At one point Jackson was eating a bagel with cream cheese and he let Brewster lick the cream cheese off the bagel! It's safe to say that Jackson got exposed to some new germs this weekend.

Thanks for the great weekend!
