Your motor skills are developing at an astounding speed. Just weeks after you mastered crawling and sitting up, you mastered pulling up. The first time you pulled up to reach your activity table. Less than a week later, you took some supported steps! Now you pull up on everything.
You love you use your Mom and Dad like a jungle gym. It's one of your favorite ways to spend playtime.
You have turned into such a wiggly worm! This has turned diaper changes into a bit of a challenge.
Your appetite for solids has really picked up. At the end of the month you dropped 2 bottles a day and started eating solids once more a day. Now you're eating 3 meals and 1 snack a day, and nursing 4 times a day. Daddy is very happy he doesn't have to wash bottles any more, and Mommy is very happy she doesn't have to pump.
You are now too big to nap with Mommy :(
This month you experienced lots of firsts. You visited the playground for the first time, both the sandbox and the swings. You are seem to prefer the sandbox; after a few times on the swings you are still unsure. Later in the month we went to Charlottesville to visit the Weiss's. Your favorite part of the weekend was playing with their dog Brewster. You enjoyed touching Brewster and seeing his reaction. The two of you became best friends after your first meal. You had a lot of fun dropping food off the table for the dog. At one point you were eating a bagel with cream cheese and you let Brewster lick the cream cheese off the bagel! This month you also started swim lessons. You are a natural in the water. You have fun kicking and splashing at each lesson.
You bathe in the bath like a big boy now. You have so much fun looking at your reflection in the spout.
Favorite foods: Vanilla yogurt, blueberries, beans of any type
We were surprised by how much you liked: Eggplant
Favorite toys: Crawl ball, alphabet caterpillar, car, activity table
