We just negotiated a two-year lease with our landlords, so that means we'll be in our house for more two years!
We really like the house we're in right now: the quiet neighborhood, plenty of square footage, a nice patio, and two-car garage. And my biggest motivator for wanting to stay: moving is at the top of my dreaded things list. Our out-of-state landlords wanted to increase our rent by $25/month, but we politely informed them that rental prices in San Antonio have dropped or stayed flat in the last year, so they agreed to keep our rent the same.
If all goes as planned we won't have to move until the Air Force assigns us our first station after I graduate.
