A New Chapter

I feel like Jon and I are starting a new chapter in our lives. Four year ago we were newlyweds. Both of us were still in school- Jon finishing up his bachelors and me about to start dental school. For all of our marriage we've been living in our hometown, close to our family and friends. I was a civilian, my only contact with the Air Force being my monthly living stipend.
Now, Jon and I have been married for four years and our relationship has grown and matured. Jon and I are both finished with school, Jon with his masters and me with my DDS. On July 3 I'll be entering active duty and starting a one-month Commissioned Officer Training. In August we'll be moving to Washington, DC so I can do a one-year residency in general dentistry.
I'm definitely looking forward to this new adventure we're about to begin. A little sad to be moving away from our friends and family for sure, for also really excited. Here's to a new chapter!

Here's some photos from my dental school graduation last month

Congratulations!! I'm sure it feels great to have all of that hard work recognized. It's amazing how much can happen in 4 years, isn't it? Jordan and I's 4th anniversary is coming up in August. Good luck with everything in this new chapter in your lives!
