Total weight gain: 9 lbs. I finally look pregnant! My belly now looks like a bona fide "baby bump" and not just extra flub.
Maternity clothes? Yep. I've been wearing the maternity uniform for a while now- the uniform high-waisted pants can't tolerate more than 5 lbs of weight gain. But this weekend I can officially no longer fit into my low-rise jeans. I tried wearing my regular jeans with the belly band but didn't find it terribly comfortable. Maternity jeans are definitely much more comfortable!
Stretch marks? Not yet.
Best moment this week: Spending a long-weekend away with Jon. We're trying to make the most of our pre-baby freedom
Miss Anything? A regular sized bladder. And, all the wineries we saw on our trip were taunting me with their tastings.
Movement: I've been feeling him for a few weeks. Now baby's movements are definitely getting stronger. They're not yet strong enough for Jon to feel them
Food cravings: Chips and salsa. Yum. I made Jon go to 2 different places with me on Friday evening to find some (and the stuff we found wasn't even that good). But I think that's more related to missing Texas than the pregnancy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Anything that smells strong can do it for me, especially the trash. If I had it my way he'd take it out every day.
Have you started to show yet: This week 3 of my patients asked me if I was expecting. I'm showing even in scrubs!
Labor Signs: None yet, sometimes my belly feels hard like I may be having Braxton Hicks contractions
Belly Button in or out? Still in, but the skin around it feels like it's stretching out
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Energy levels: Somewhere between their pre-pregnancy and first trimester levels. Eight hours of sleep a night seems to be sufficient most nights, but I do like to stockpile sleep on the weekend.
*Thanks to Catherine for the format*
