Cherry Blossoms

Today we just got back from Atlanta, where I attended a dental conference and presented a table clinic. Atlanta was great, and I'll post photos soon. In the meantime, I'll share some photos from last weekend.
Everyone has said that our winter has been very mild. It only snowed 3 times, and no work days were lost due to inclement weather. Mild winter or not, it was still colder than what we're used to and I've been so anxious to see spring. Spring seemed to arrive almost overnight- one weekend it was cold and the next was sunny and comfortable.
Springtime in DC is know for its cherry blossoms. Tourists come from all over the world to see them, and I surely didn't want to miss the cherry blossoms our first year in DC. The cherry blossoms are worth the hype! We've visited the tidal basin and mall area many times since moving here, and it's never been as beautiful as it was in full bloom. Braving all the tourists was well worth it.
