Jon decided to come along, and got to hang out with the other spouses during the day while we were at the convention. In the evenings we played tourist and got to eat at a lot of different restaurants.
Both of us LOVED Atlanta. There was so much to do within walking distance of our hotel. The downtown area felt clean and safe, and was centered around Centennial Olympic Park.
Did you know that CNN is headquartered in Atlanta? Neither did I, until we took a tour
We were joined by our friend Abby and her 5-month-old Luke. Jon spent a lot of time with Abby and Luke during the days, and he said multiple times that he hopes our little boy is as happy as baby Luke.Abby and Luke
This was a business trip, so we presented our table clinics at the convention. I've been working on mine since September, and the hard work paid off! I had lot of visitors at my table clinic, and lots of interest in the topic (FYI: My title was "Regeneration of Apical Tissues in Previously Necrotic Immature Teeth")Here I am with my friend and co-resident Kristy
No trip to Atlanta is complete without a trip to the World of Coca Cola
(Note to self: do not take any more photos sitting down. Not flattering)
Atlanta has the best aquarium I've ever seen. We spent 2.5 hours there and only saw about half of the attractions. Our group at the aquarium
Jon and Darryl enjoyed petting the sharks

My favorite sea animal- PENGUINS!
