Happy thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving from the Wenglers. We hosted turkey dinner for the first time ever, and it was a success. Our neighbors Susannah, John, and baby came over for a low-stress but delicious dinner. I made some old favorites (cranberry relish, chorizo-cornbread stuffing, deviled eggs, and icebox pumpkin pie) and tried a new recipe (mushroom gravy). We bought turkey breast, glazed ham, and mashed potatoes. Our neighbors made spinach dip, sweet potato casserole, biscuits, and cheesecake. We rounded out the day watching football. Jackson skipped his nap from all the fun but didn't even have a meltdown.
Now we're looking forward to our long weekend.
