Jon is finishing up his last semester at UTSA and will soon be getting his Master's of Education. He just started his student teaching on Monday. He'll spend 2 weeks at a middle school and 3 weeks at a high school.
Right now he's in an 8th grade science class. The kids are dissecting frogs.
Did you do any dissections while in school? I remember dissecting a worm, starfish, frog, and fetal pig, and I always found it interesting.
But back to 8th grade...Since Jon just started he's mainly helping the teacher check off the students' progress and not running the class himself. I'm very proud of my husband for having a calling to educate our youth and I am excited to see where he will end up in August teaching on his own.
