Last night Jon and I went to Fourth Friday at the Morton's house. The themes were Valentine's Day and communication. We started by eating some delicious lasagna, salad, and bread. Then the ladies decorated cookies and cards for our hubbies, and the guys worked on a welding project for us girls. Jon made me a beautiful cross. We closed the evening by talking about the 5 love languages and ways to communicate better in our marriage.
Here's my plug for Fourth Fridays. Every month there's a different crowd but it's always fun, so I invite all of you to come check it out!
First Fridays is one of CMDA's ministries for married and engaged couples. It's hosted by Paul and Phyllis Morton, a local doctor/nurse couple. Most of the couples there have one spouse in medical/dental school or residency, so a lot of us are going through similar issues in our marriages. Jon and I love hanging out with other couples and working on strengthening our relationship.
The next Fourth Friday is Feb 26, let me know if you're interested.
