25th birthday weekend

Last weekend I celebrated my 25th birthday. Or, as several of my family members liked to remind me, a 1/4 of a century. The celebrations started on Friday night with dinner and wine on the patio, then we visited with Jon's parents. Saturday we headed to the Hill Country for a surprise birthday party for a co-worker at school. (Not exactly a co-worker since I don't work, but school sure feels like work most days!) Sunday I treated myself to a new swimsuit with my birthday money, then we met up with our good friends Nicole and Brandon at the new Alamo Drafthouse to see the movie Date Night. All in all in was a good, relaxing birthday weekend spent with family and friends. Jon's birthday is just 11 days after mine so the birthday celebrations will be continuing soon.
