Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend was filled with family and relaxation. The weekend got started off early- on Friday Jon had the whole day off and I was done at noon. Friday night Jon and his dad went to the Spurs game and watched the Spurs beat Orlando. While the guys were at the game I was hanging out with my sister-in-law Christina. We watched the movie Couples Retreat (which I don't recommend) and played with Christina's new puppy Chocka. She's 10-week old lab-pit bull mix who is friendly and full of energy. We may all be too old for Easter egg hunts now, but Jon's parents treated us to a adult-appropriate Easter baskets.
Contents: a bottle of wine, chocolate bunny, our favorite chocolate (Ferroro Rocher) and cat treats. Rockey approved of the gift.

We got to enjoy two Easter dinners: a traditional ham with all the fixings Saturday night with Jon's parents and Christina, then fajitas and beans on Sunday after church with my extended family. I don't yet have the photos to prove it, but on Sunday we had my whole family together (MeMa plus all the grandkids and spouses) together for the first time in a good while.
