Baby Jackson

Since becoming pregnant I was convinced that our baby would come late. Well, babies come when they are ready, not in their "due dates"! Our son decided he was ready to make his grand entry on Sunday, July 1 at 3:14pm. The birth was amazing, but more on that another post. Here are some photos of his first days. Jon and I are totally in love with our little guy!

Happy Birthday Jackson! July 1

July 2

Jon is amazing with babies!

Baby Jackson had to get an IV put in shortly after birth to remain in for 48 hours. For the duration of our hospital stay his right arm has a little splint and diaper over it to prevent him from taking out the IV, so Jon called him "club arm".
Jackson loves to be swaddled! The swaddle blankets with velcro are pretty awesome.

Ready to go home! All bundled up in the car seat

First night at home. Hanging out with Jon in the office

Tummy time

I love those feet! His legs are super flexible, and always end up in weird positions

Bath time

Getting ready for a sponge bath- and not too happy about it! Bath time today went much smoother, and his newborn rash is looking better.
