I love spending my mornings with Jackson. He is always in such a good mood when I wake him up, and I'm definitely a morning person. So the two of us get to spend good time together in the morning while my night-owl husband spends a few extra minutes in bed.

Jackson is usually half-awake by the time I go into his room.
This is him in his normal sleeping position- both hands up.
Like usual, he's managed to work one foot out of his sleep sack. And that one foot is always ice cold!
On his changing table for a diaper change. Just in the last few days he's now interested in his mobile and expects me to turn it on when I put him on his table.
After feeding Jackson, we go downstairs so I can eat. Jackson isn't a swing-junkie like some babies, but he'll sit in it for 5-10 minutes at a time. Just enough time to make some eggs.
We go outside to eat on the deck. This was our view today:
Some mornings I bring the swing out onto the deck, other mornings he sits on my lap.
After I eat we go back upstairs. This morning we had an outfit change due to spit up then some playtime.
By then Jackson is ready for a nap, so I put Jackson in bed next to Jon so he can get some snuggle time.
Not a bad little morning routine!
